Fighting against criminalsAfter the reform and open policy was established in China, China has been processing a rapid development However; the existence of crimes and criminals has negative affections on the development. There are all kinds of criminals, rappers, sackers, and murders. What they have done either do harm to the property of the public and the private or to the body and the spirit of the victims and their families.
Thus criminals become the evil factors which make the people feel unsafe in our society. Then, why there are so many criminals in the society? How can we prevent the criminals commit crimes?
There are two main causes of criminals: first, the economy’s development made the gap between the rich and the poor widened. The people who are poor may have unbalanced mind to make some crimes. Second, there may be many individual reasons for a criminal to become a criminal, such as the family he lives in, the friends he makes, the experience he has after entering the society, even the book he reads. The second reason makes the criminals can’t totally disappear in the class society. However, we can take some measures to minimize the number of criminals.
In my opinion, we may deal the criminal-problem with the following four methods. In macro-point, the government can make policy to lead the development of the society a healthier and balanced one to narrow the gap between the rich and the poor. Then the government also should make the law more elaborate and carry out it more firmly. In this way, some criminals may be deterred by the law. Education should also play an important role in cutting off the members of the criminals. Finally, the people around the criminal who have been released from the prison may give more understanding and caring to him. In this way, the recommitting may be reduced.
The president Hu Jingtao mentions that we should make our society a harmonious society. To criminal, who are a part of our society, we hope they become the legal citizens. Thus the society can be more harmonious one.
