参考答案及解析：
1．选A. 考点：短语理解。in case也许, 说不定，以防。no matter无论，in any case无论如何, 不管怎样。ever since从那时起，自那时以来。
2．选C。考点：主谓一致问题。means方法, 手段, 是一个单词，并不是mean的复数形式。
3．选B。like是介词，后面一般跟名词或相当于名词的词，that和which引导定语从句。
     as: 连词，像……一样。
4．选 D。考点：独立主格。前面独立主格的主语应该和主句的主语一致。故正确答案应
   该选D。
